Commentary End of El Curioso Impertinente tale. Anselmo, after discovering the betrayal of his wife, Camila, and his friend, Lotario, decides to flee away from Firenze, but, halfway, dazed by his thoughts, he stops, ties the horse to a tree and falls over the floor. Cupid has been represented too.
Good engraving.
