Commentary | Don Quixote, half-naked, sat on the floor making "pranks" or penance, while Sancho moves away not to see don Quixote naked (good gesture); don Quixote's arms remain abandoned in one side.
Rocinante has been drawn quite badly; it is more remarkable the perspective of different mountains (different grades of acquatint). |
