Commentary Originaly, this scene was designed to illustrate don Quixote and Sancho on their road from Barcelona to home (Don Quixote, mounted on Rocinante, is not wearing his armour any longer; Sancho's donkey carries his armour and arms).
Now, however, the new caption has changed the meaning of the illustration: don Quixote and Sancho leaves their village in search of adventures.
