Commentary | Originaly, this scene was designed to illustrate don Quixote and Sancho on their road from Barcelona to home (Don Quixote, mounted on Rocinante, is not wearing his armour any longer; Sancho's donkey carries his armour and arms).
Now, however, the new caption has changed the meaning of the illustration: don Quixote and Sancho leaves their village in search of adventures. |
