Commentary Don Quixote and Sancho leaves the Duke's palace and the servants bid them farewell (among the servants, it appears Altisidora).
The setting is not too much accurate to Cervantes' text; "una mañana se presentó armado en la plaza del castillo" (57:2). Johannot has not represented the courtyard of the castle, but the outside. We have to take into consideration Viardot's translation; "plaza" has been translated as "plate-forme".
