	Commentary	From the whole novel of the "Ill-advised curiosity", this is maybe the best-known episode and the most illustrated; Camila pretends to discuss with Lotario and threatens him with stabbing herself; "si a dicha te atrevieres a pasar desta raya que ves, ni aun llegar a ella, en el punto que viere que lo intentas, en ese mismo me pasaré el pecho con esta daga que en las manos tengo" (34:1); Leonela observes them. Theatrical scene, in keeping with Romanticism taste; the gestures and expressions of the three figures, although theatrical, are well-drawn and engraved.
