Commentary Last illustration dedicated to the novel of The Ill-Advised Curiosity; Camila as a nun; "hizo profesión, y acabó en breves días la vida a las rigurosas manos de tristezas y melancolías" (35:1).
Scene absolutely resolved in keeping with Romanticism taste, tragic and theatrical; it is difficult not to compare this image with the one of doña Inés from Zorrila's Don Juan.
The engraving is specially remarkable.
Notes 1 - Same tailpiece and wooden block first used for Paris: Dubochet, 1836-37.
