Commentary | In the foreground, don Quixote ready to fight with a lion, but the animal remains into its cage although the lionkeeper has opened it.
In the background, sketched, Sancho and don Diego. Don Quixote's figure is remarkable. Notice a "Spanish" detail: the lionkeeper has been represented as Goya's "majos". |
