Commentary In the foreground, Sancho is not allowed to eat by Pedro Recio, who points with a wand to the dishes that a page must take away.
Pedro Recio's figure is very remarkable; in keeping with 19th century caricature style.
The figures in the foreground are well-drawn and engraved; the ones in the background only sketched.
