Commentary | Action not too much accurate to Cervantes' text.
According to the text, when four travelers arrive at the inn, Rocinante moves, don Quixote falls down and cries and the innkeeper appears. In the illustration, the innkeeper has already appeared, but either Rocinante or don Quixote have not moved yet. Drawing and engraving are excellent; despite the small format, the illustration is well-detailed. |
