| Commentary | Don Quixote surrounded by Duchess' maidens soaping and washing his beard.
Girardet's style is quite different from Grandville's; Girardet's figures are more stylized, his drawing lines are longer and freer; notice the almost Chinese features of the maidens. Good drawing and engraving. |
