Commentary | Sancho Panza introduces Micomicona to don Quixote; she kneels before don Quixote and he tries to prevent her from doing it.
The barber appears disguised with a fake beard as her squire. Don Quixote's arms still hanging from a tree (don Quixote's penance). In the background, hidden, the priest and Cardenio. Drawing and engraving are quite good; Ballester is an excellent engraver (clear burin lines); figures with good volume. |
