Commentary | Original and well-drawn vignette with different elements referring Sancho's government in Barataria Island; his chair, cloak and a very elaborate scepter with allegories of Law, Justice and Prudence.
Vierge's short and fine drawing lines imitate etching. Usual in his illustrations, some element in black creates a worth noting contrast. |
