Commentary Don Quixote and Sancho, after being beaten up by a group of Yangüeses, remain on the ground unable to stand up; aside, Sancho's donkey.
Excellent engraving; Strang proves to be a very skillful etcher.
The composition is based on Velázquez' Argos and Mercury (The Prado Museum, c. 1659).
