|Commentary||Balaca has perfectly represented and suggested don Quixote (with his back half turned on the viewer) engrossed in cleaning his armour, lost in thought.
Very carefully-done setting (the pieces of the armour, the bookself...); resolved with good austerity.
The combination of ochre colors (over which don Quixote's green and red clothes stand out) creates a good and austere atmosphere.
