Commentary | Sancho, dressed as a governor, departs for Barataria Island on a mule and followed by his donkey while some labourers cheer him. The Duke's majordomo and other servants accompany him.
The scene has been composed with a good perspective; drawing and engraving are excellent. Notice the boy standing up on the right; this kind of boys are usual in Pellicer's illustrations. |
