Commentary | The barber throws himself from his mule on the ground to avoid don Quixote's attack.
Sancho observes the scene from the background. The barber basin (Mambrino's helmet) remains fallen on the ground. Drawing, shading and engraving are excellent; although don Quixote's and Sancho's figures are undetailed, the effect of the whole illustration is very remarkable |
