Commentary | In Sierra Morena, before Sancho leaves for El Toboso mounted on Rocinante, don Quixote performs some mad acts (jumps and somersaults) as part of his love penance; he appears wearing only his shirt; his armour, arms and Mambrino's helmet (basin barber) all around on the ground.
Good drawing; don Quixote's figure is very remarkable, very expressive. Worth-noting illustration. |
