Commentary Don Quixote, hanged by his own hand tied to a window of the inn, remains standing on Rocinante while the innkeeper's daughter and Maritornes observe him from the inn courtyard.
Not accurate representation; both girls should appear looking through the window.
Drawing and engraving are excellent.
Notes 1 - This episode was first represented by Savery (Dordrecht: Savery, 1657), but he included the four travelers (servants of don Luis' father).
