	Commentary	"In a certain village in la Mancha,...". View of a village in La Mancha. The smoke from the chimneys and clouds in the sky shape the letters for the title: "EL INGENIOSO HIDALGO DON QUIJOTE DE LA MANCHA". Image realistic and picturesque. Very remarkable drawing skill.
	Notes	1 - The original drawing (Chinese ink and gouache white) was finished in 1898 in Sevilla and presented at the Exposition of Fine Arts of Barcelona (1898). 2 - "Comienza D. José Jiménez Aranda su Quijote, con una portada en que los nubarrones y el humo de las chimeneas dibujan sobre el cielo el título de la novela, bajo el cual se descubre la vista pintoresca de aquel famoso lugar de la Mancha, de cuyo nombre no quería acordarse Cervantes" (José Ramón Mélida: "Don José Jiménez Aranda y su "Quijote"", vol. I TEXTO, p. XXIX).
