Commentary "... and the other buckled on his spur,".
At the inn courtyard, once don Quixote has been knighted by the innkeeper and girt with his sword by "doña Tolosa", another of the party girls (doña Molinera) buckles the knight with his spurs.
Also in the scene, the young groom holding a candle, the other party girl (doña Tolosa) and some muleteers.
Great interest in representing real Spanish characters and accurate period setting, clothes and details; realistic and picturesque.
Jiménez Aranda's drawing skill is masterly; remarkable use of light and shadow; notice the light effects produced by the full moon and the candle. 
Notes 1 - The original drawing (Chinese ink and gouache white) was finished in 1899 in Sevilla and presented at the National Exposition of Madrid (1899).
