Commentary Princess Micomicona (Dorotea) knelt down before don Quixote but he tries to prevent her from doing it (see the gesture of his hand).
Sancho Panza explains to don Quixote who Micomicona is; the barber, disguised with a beard, appears as her squire.
In the background, Cardenio and the priest (they should appear hidden).
Plate of great quality; masterly drawing and engraving (see Micomicona's face, don Quixote's hand...).
