Commentary | Pedro Alonso places don Quixote on his mule and takes him and Rocinante, carrying don Quixote's arms (the lance should appear broken), back home.
Well-known scene, but resolved with an original composition; the figures move from foreground to background, where there's a view of don Quixote's village. Remarkable image of don Quixote, comically-placed; good illustration. |
