Commentary | At the inn, Zoraida and the captive introduce themselves before don Quixote, don Fernando, Cardenio, Dorotea, Luscinda and the barber.
Liking for scenes with dialogs; Chodowiecki is interested in the variety of characters, faces, clothes... (see don Quixote and captive's faces). Zoraida appears as a black woman; not accurate. Intimate scene; some characters with their backs turned on the viewer. |
