	Commentary	The Duchess' maidens soaping don Quixote's beard and hair. Vierge's style is masterly; detailed and very remarkable figures and setting; see the maidens, their dresses, don Quixote's gesture and expression... Usual in Vierge's illustrations, some element in black creates a worth noting contrast. His short and fine drawing lines imitate etching.
