Commentary | Well-known image of don Quixote, asleep, in shirt, with a night cap on his head, his arm wrapped in a blanket and attacking the wineskins (giant Pandafilando); in the background, the inkeeper Juan Palomeque (and his wife?).
Mueller uses the expressive possiblities of wood engraving with great skill and modernity, resolving the scene with a worth-noting and contemporary artistic sense. |
