Commentary | Don Quixote aims his lance against the bachelor Alonso López, fallen with his mule beside a lighted torch; meanwhile, the other ecclesiastics run away (background) and Sancho ransacks their sumpter mule (foreground); the coffin of the dead body remains abandoned aside.
