Commentary | In Sierra Morena, Dorotea, washing her feet into a small river and "combing" her hair, is discovered by the priest, disguised with a fake beard, the barber, disguised with woman clothes, and Cardenio.
Excellent illustration; highly-detailed and accurate to Cervantes' text; well-drawn figures and setting. |
Notes | 1 - Process reproduction of Pinelli's etching for Roma: R. Gentilucci, 1833-34.
2 - Wrongly-placed in chapter 49:1. |
