Commentary | Don Quixote orders a cart with actors to stop and to explain to him who they are; actors of Angulo el Malo's company disguised to perform Las cortes de la muerte: Devil, Death, Cupid, Emperor, Queen... also a bojiganga.
Remarkable use of black and white contrast to create a very expressive illustration; figures with great force quite influence by Surrealism. |
