Commentary | After beating don Quixote and Sancho, Cardenio leaves and the goatherd appears to help them.
Not too much accurate; according to Cervantes' text, the goatherd is also beaten by Cardenio. The engraving is excelent; the drawing rather unexpressive (neither Cardenio does look like a violent mad man, nor don Quixote and Sancho like just beaten). |
