Commentary Don Quixote's first sally at dawn under the figures of Phoebus, spreading the golden tresses of his lovely hair over the vast surface of the earthly globe... and the beautiful Aurora leaving her jealous husband's bed...; notice other details from Cervantes' description: the pretty painted birds and the gates and balconies of the Manchegan Horizon (balustrade).
Remarkable illustration with Dalí's allegorical/surrealistic style.
Notice the figure of a laborer from the Ampurdán.
