Commentary Two party girls (doña Tolosa and doña Molinera) and a third figure knelt before don Quixote; two other figures (the innkeeper?) leaned against a well observe the scene.
Don Quixote receives a shield from one of the party girls; not represented according to the text and pictorial tradition (doña Tolosa with the sword and doña Molinera with the spurs).
Notice don Quixote extremely elongated figure, almost skeletal.
