Commentary | While Sancho and don Quixote are sleeping on their mounts in Sierra Morena, Ginés de Pasamonte steals the donkey, leaving Sancho on the packsaddle and four stakes.
The chosen moment -don Quixote and Sancho are still sleeping but the donkey has already been stolen- is especially comical. Drawing and engraving are excellent. |
