Commentary Well-known episode. Don Quixote remains with his beard soaped while one maiden looks for more water; the Duke and the Duchess observe him laughing.
Simple composition, as a theatrical performance (all the characters in the foreground). Clumsy drawing (see faces) and deficient engraving.
