Commentary Well-known scene since Savery (Dordrecht: Savery, 1657). Simple composition; all the characters in the foreground. Several soldiers prepare Sancho to fight. Illustration neither dramatic nor comical.
Drawing and engraving are acceptable.
Notes Accompanied by the poem:
"Fatigu'd, poor Sancho's senses slumbers charm,
But soon he's wak'd by cries of "Arm Arm Arm".
In armour fasten'd, which he cannot use,
He fears to fight, but does not dare refuse".
