Commentary Great and theatrical setting (Sancho is highlighted between two columns and before one curtain).
Perfectly-balanced composition.
In the center, Sancho with the secretary and the steward.
At each side, one group of characters (one with the accused and other with the accusing man).
The stolen coins have just been discovered into a walking stick; Sancho looks at the accused man (left) out of the corner of his eye.
Large plate of excellent drawing, engraving and shading.
Real portraits (old men on the left, Sancho and figures at the right).
