Commentary | Don Quixote attacks one of the soldiers after having defeated another one; meanwhile, Sancho releases the galley slaves.
Well-represented actions (the first soldier falling, don Quixote attacking the second one, Sancho releasing the slaves). Drawing and engraving are excellent, with remarkable skill. John Vanderbank represented the previous dialogue in keeping with Cartert and Oldfield's taste (London: Tonson, 1738 |
