| Commentary | Princess Micomicona (Dorotea) keels before don Quixote and the knight tries to prevent her from doing it.
On the left, Sancho; on the right, the barber disguised as Micomicona's page with a fake beard (ox-tail). Don Quixote's arms remain hanged on a tree. Cardenio and the priest have not been represented. Drawing and engraving are quite good; notice don Quixote's gesture and expression, remarkable face. |
