Commentary | Don Quixote hits Sancho with his lance because the squire prefers Micomicona's beauty to Dulcinea's; Micomicona (Dorotea) tries to stop him.
Also in the scene, the barber (disguised with a fake beard), the priest (on horseback) and Cardenio. Well-known scene, resolved with little novelty. Good drawing and engraving. |
