Commentary | At night, doña Rodríguez, holding a candle and wearing spectacles, enters don Quixote's room, who stands on his bed wrapped from head to foot in a satin coverlet.
This illustration, although accurate to Cervantes' text, is not one of the best representations of this episode and does not result as comical as Cervantes' description. |
