Commentary | Third of five illustrations about El Curioso Impertinente tale.
Quiteria pretends to fight with Anselmo to protect her honor. Scene of great violence and movement; well-resolved figures thanks to Houghton's usual and remarkable style of long wavy lines. Excellent drawing and engraving; very remarkable illustration. |
