Commentary | Don Quixote, defeated by the Knight of the White Moon (Sansón Carrasco), is helped by Sancho; also Rocinante lies defeated next to him.
Well-known episode, but Houghton´s has chosen an original and very emotive and sad instant. Drawing and engraving are excellent; Sancho's sad expression is specially remarkable. |
