Commentary The illustration refers to Cardenio's story as told by the goatherd to don Quixote and Sancho.
In Sierra Morena, the goatherds encounter Cardenio moaning and complaining about Luscinda.
Good drawing and engraving; Cardenio's figure is quite remarkable.
In an ornamental and architectural frame with Love's arms (arrows and bow), a butterfly and flowers; the whole illustration has got a remarkable decorative effect.
