Commentary | Simple composition: Sancho sat at his table and surrounded by Pedro Recio (right), who points to the dishes that must be taken away, and other servants.
Three little pages take the dishes away; the page in the foreground is remarkable (well-drawn and engraved in "escorzo"). Pedro Recio's figure is remarkable too (as a 18th century English physician). |
