Commentary Original choice; don Quixote and Sancho Panza arrive at don Diego de Miranda's house, where they meet don Diego's wife, doña Cristina, and their son, don Lorenzo.
Simple composition (all the characters in the foreground), but detailed and good setting (see accurate details: "tobosescas tinajas" or large pitchers).
Notes 1 - Same plate first engraved for Paris: Didot L'Aîné-Deterville, 1799, now without frames. Also without frames in Paris: H. Nicolle, 1808.
2 - Wrongly placed in chapter 19:2.
