Commentary | When don Fernando, seizing Luscinda, takes off his mask, Dorotea recognizes him and she sighs and faints; the priest and the barber hold her.
After hearing Dorotea's sigh, Cardenio enters the room and recognizes don Fernando and Luscinda too. Well-known and theatrical scene; well-drawn figures; those of Luscinda and Dorotea are specially remarkable. |
