Commentary | Beginning of the adventure of the enchanted boat. Don Quixote and Sancho are already in the boat and the squire says goodbye to his donkey, which stays at the bank with Rocinante.
Smirke has chosen a tender moment from the whole adventure. Good drawing and engraving; don Quixote's figure is remarkable. |
