Commentary Countess Trifaldi takes off her veil and shows her beard, astonishing don Quixote and Sancho.
Also the Duke, Duchess, other dueñas, maidens and white bearded Trifaldín.
The figure of the Duchess, of great beauty and highly-detailed (see her dress), is remarkable.
Print of great quality because of its drawing and engraving, but scene of little novelty.
Well-known scene since Coypel (Paris: Surugue, 1724).
