| Commentary | Well-known scene since Savery (Dordrecht: Savery, 1657) and Coypel (Paris: Surugue, 1724); this is one of the most represented episodes. Don Quixote and Sancho riding Clavileño while a pair of servants pretend its flight with torches; the Duke, the Duchess and other servants observe them.
