Commentary Micomicona (Dorotea) tries to calm down don Quixote, who is angry with Sancho because the squire has offended the Princess; "No os despechéis Caballero de la Trista Figura, de las sandeces que vuestro escudero ha dicho; porque quizá no las debe de decir sin ocasión, ni de su buen entendimiento y cristiana conciencia se puede sospechar que levante testimonio a nadie" (46:1).
Theatrical and effective gestures: don Quixote attacking Sancho, Sancho protecting himself, Dorotea calming dow don Quixote... ; surrounding them, don Fernando (right), the priest (left) and others.
Remarkable engraving (see gleams in don Quixote's armor, Dorotea's dress...).
