Description: Album published by cigar and tobacco company: "Cigaretten-U. Rauchtabakfabriken A.-G." The second part, entitled Leben und Abenteuer des sinnreichen Ritters von La Mancha, pp. 33-64, is about the Quixote. Each card is accompanied by narrative text in German.

Illustrations: Contains 160 large offset reproductions of Eberhard Schlotter's aquatints & photoengravings plus two signed original aquatints. The plates were engraved between 1977 and 1981 for edition Alicante: Rembrandt Editores, 1980-81 in four volumes.
Description: The edition is in linen case limited to 350. Cushing's copy is number I/16. It includes also Catalog of exhibition at Gutenberg Museum, Mainz, with additional 186 vignettes, published in Darmstadt by Julius von Liebig Verlag, 1987.

Illustrations: Contains 33 etchings by Francesco Novelli. Most of them are based on illustrations of previous editions (Madrid: Ibarra, 1780; Paris: Huart, 1733; Paris: David Fills Damonneville, 1741; Paris: Didot, 1799...). "Las láminas, dibujadas y grabadas al aguafuerte por F. Novelli, algunas desprovistas de carácter, están bastante bien hechas" (RR423). These illustrations were copied and lithographed by A. Bedini, A. Berselli and Kirchmayr for Venice: Tondelli, 1848.
Description: Separate issue of plates from the 1818 edition by the same printer, with explanatory texts. This edition, limited to 102 copies, is very rare.

Description: This edition is limited to 1000 copies. It is a collection of plates depicting scenes from the Quixote painted by Portinari in 1956, and accompanied by poems in Portuguese by Drummond de Andrade written in 1972. First published in 1973.
